👋! I’m Anna. I’m a writer, a curious person, a work in progress. I live in the foothills of the Cascade mountains, where I mother two small chaos agents and drink lots of iced tea.

In 2019, I started Pidge Post, a little company that fosters connection through snail mail. That work illuminated my broader interest in the power of writing and how intentional, offline practice can bolster a gentler and more joyful life.

Which led me to This Year is a Garden, a creative exploration (in newsletter format) into the nature of being human. Which led me to this space, where I hope to provide encouragement, community, and tools for moving slowly and quietly in our fast, loud world.
