  • Letters to the Dead

    Bi-weekly Thursdays | 10-11:30am
    Snoqualmie Valley Healing Center

  • Literary Nights x Pidge Post: Epistolary Salon

"I Dreamt He Found My Letters and Read Each One Loud"

Revisit the magic of the eastside’s community mailbox at this collaborative event, hosted by Literary Nights and featuring Pidge Post. Anna will introduce and share letters received through the experiment, followed by community readings.

An open mic invites readers to share their own letters—written, saved, found, and fictionalized. And, yes, letters will be written.

    Monday, November 3 | 6:30-tba
    Issaquah Depot Museum, Issaquah

  • RAGE is RESISTANCE

(Basically) one year after the election, dive into a daylong experience and processing of rage. Full-bodied, full-hearted release through shouting, dancing, breaking shit, making shit. Of course, some writing. This one melds mindfulness with punk rock. It’s gonna be rad.

    Saturday, Nov 8, 2025 | 10am - 4pm
    Carnation Farms, Carnation

  • Yoga teaching @ spira

A random, ongoing one! I’ll be subbing classes at Spira Power Yoga beginning this fall. (Don’t let the name fool you; classes are Vinyasa and/or slow flow, centered on mindfulness and breath/body connection.)

Details and signups available on Spira’s website, via button below. And while I’m here, can I just say that Dora’s classes are what you want? She is a stunning yoga teacher who deepened my creative, spiritual, and movement practices immensely. Go forth!

Past projects:

  • Community Mailbox Experiment

Picture a mailbox on a busy sidewalk, loaded with blank cards, pre-addressed envelopes, and a request: write me a letter. This interactive public installation proved warm, intimate, deep, and expansive. More than 100 letters came in, and continue to do so.

This experiment ran Jan - Jul 2025, with a secondary exhibit, Letters from Friends (May-Jul 2025), showcasing the letters’ vulnerable, hopeful, wise collective.

  • Drop-in writing community

These free, drop-in workshops are space to practice and share writing in a no-frills, no-pressure environment.

This program is currently on pause.

Write-in: first Mondays, 10-11:30am, Huxdotter North Bend

Feedback circle: third Thursdays, 10:30-12pm, North Bend Library

  • Rest Fest: 2024

A day-long rest retreat in the Cascade foothills, a chance slow down and pay attention to the world around and inside you. We moved gently in nature, reflected and dreamed, communed, created. All without judgement or goals of achievement.
