IN PROGRESS + UPCOMING

  • Community Mailbox Experiment

What a joyful surprise this project has been!

In January, I put a mailbox outside Happy Time Studio, loaded with blank cards, pre-addressed envelopes, and a request: write me a letter. I expected a few people to respond, but DOZENS of letters have come in, and continue to do so.

The experiment has been extended through June 2025. AND—

as of May 2, a secondary exhibit, Letters from Friends, showcases the letters’ vulnerable, hopeful, wise collective.

Visit, view, and contribute at Happy Time Studio, Issaquah

ecosystem renewal (capped by a feast in the field!) at Carnation Farms

    meander, spiral, explode
yoga, writing, & the many patterns of nature, hosted in a sunflower field

    the poetry of blueberries
celebrating paradox (also: eating lots of berries) at Bybee Blueberry Farm

    beauty + resilience
an exploration of suffering and resilience through yoga and flowers

  • Letters to the Dead

Gather at Carnation Farms for an exploration into death and loss. Warm, open conversation and practice leads to letter-writing, connecting us to both the beloved dead and the dead-to-you.

  • RAGE is RESISTANCE

(Basically) one year after the election, dive into a daylong experience and processing of rage. Full-bodied, full-hearted release through shouting, dancing, breaking shit, making shit. Of course, some writing. This one melds mindfulness with punk rock. It’s gonna be rad.
